Bluelab Buffer 4 + 7 Calibration Liquid 250ml – is actually PH liquid that you use to calibrate your PH stick. You start by dropping your PH stick into buffer 7 and calibrating it there. Next you do the same with a buffer 4. To put it short and simple, buffer 7 and 4 are a bit like a weight for a scale. Here you use the weight that you know what weighs, and then put it on the scale so that you can adjust your weight there. It's the same with buffer 7 and 4. You can't just use one of the buffers, they are both necessary to get a correct measurement of your PH stick.
