Square Pot – These pots are made of good quality hard plastic.
What makes many people prefer square pots is that when watering, the flow is better and the water reaches a larger part of the medium than it would in a round pot. This is because a round pot has roughly the same dimension all the way from top to bottom, whereas a square pot is often wider at the top than it is at the bottom, and it is also more oblong in shape, where a round pot is approximately the same length in height and width.
