This is an easy way to create a light cover that is twice the size of the normal area.
The motor unit for all sets is identical and is fitted with a variable delay timer that can be set from 0.5 – 60 seconds, which is achieved using an adjustment screw on the front of the motor unit.
The motor pull speed is set to the optimum level for excellent growth, which is approximately 140 seconds per metre.
The time delay setting allows the light movement to pause at each end of the track for a desired period of time. This allows the plants at the ends of the garden to absorb an even amount of light as the middle part of the garden, resulting in an even growth profile. Without the time delay at each end, you may find that the centre growth will be taller than the ends.
