Smartpot 20L – Autopot

The AutoPot FlexiPot 20 L fits the AutoPot XL tray, allowing you to combine our low-maintenance, high-performance, modular, and water-efficient systems with fabric pots. FlexiPots stimulate plant growth by aerating, feeding, and managing the root structure rather than simply containing it. The porous, BPA-free, and lead-free FlexiPot material facilitates improved gas exchange within the substrate. Unrestricted airflow in the root zone leads to dramatically higher oxygen levels, supercharging growth. When root tips reach the porous sides of a FlexiPot, they are "air-pruned"—discouraged from extending further by the air outside. Secondary roots then develop, creating a fibrous root structure with significantly improved moisture and nutrient uptake. This eliminates root circling, enabling the production of larger plants from smaller pots. Extremely durable and reusable, FlexiPots are easily cleaned between uses if desired. Once emptied, it is best to let the FlexiPots dry; after a few days, light dust and small root fragments can be brushed off. While this level of cleaning is perfectly adequate, FlexiPots can also be machine-washed or soaked in a peroxide solution for sterilization. Do not place FlexiPots in a tumble dryer. When growing with AutoPot watering systems, it is essential to fit a PotSock Round (PotSock not included) to the base of each FlexiPot for root control. Indoor humidity levels may rise when growing with multiple FlexiPots due to the exposed surface area of the fabric pots.
