Germination, vegging and flowering
This is the Growbox 0.35m 170 watt grow box with an XL height extension set. An extra bottom has been installed between the bottom of the XL set and the top of the cabinet, creating two compartments. 3 air inlets are mounted in this intermediate floor. The air extractor mounted on the ceiling of the cabinet draws in fresh air through the inlets in the rear wall of the lower compartment. The air is then drawn through the inlets in the intermediate floor and then blown out. The air inlets ensure that the air can go from bottom to top, but no light. In this way the heat from the lamps is dissipated and both compartments are continuously supplied with fresh air.
Each compartment is equipped with its own grow light. With the WIFI Smartbox you can set the lighting in the top compartment at 18 hours ON per day and in the bottom compartment at 12 hours. Now you can use the top compartment to germinate and to pre-grow seeds. The bottom compartment can be used for flowering the plants. This way you can already grow your new plants while the previous generation is in the last weeks of flowering.
After harvesting, the pre-grown plants can be moved down immediately and placed under a 12/12 light regime.
This saves valuable time, which may result in an extra harvest on an annual basis.
Mother plant with root chamber
By setting the lights in the bottom and upper compartments to ON for 18 hours, the cabinet could also be used for growing a mother plant from which you cut cuttings.
These can then take root in the top compartment.
In the arrangement in the photo, the cabinet is equipped with a 50W LED Growlight in the upper compartment and a 170W LED Growlight in the lower compartment.
If desired, the cabinet can of course also be equipped with other lamps.
The cabinet is supplied without propagator.
