What about food?:

Sunflower sprouts are ready to eat raw, and is definitely my favorite way to eat them. With a high level of health due to the many vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and proteins, they are a good dietary supplement for a healthy everyday life.

You can possibly use them in juices, smoothies and juices, they also give good taste!

Cultivation:

You must always be in good time with your cultivation, as the seeds must be soaked.

Sunflower seeds should preferably be soaked for 8 hours before sowing. Then they must be flushed through and sown. 
They should preferably be watered twice a day and rinsed with clean water.

You should not be concerned about the existence of small hairs, these are called root hairs (fibrous roots), and you can easily see if the seeds are too dry as more of these root hairs will then appear.
